Employees of Patients First shall not disclose any confidential information obtained in the course of providing health services except with the written consent of the patient. This responsibility to our patients shall not be construed:

to prevent employees from reporting information for insurance and statistical health information purposes as authorized by the patient;
to affect in any Patients First compliance with a validly issued subpoena or summons enforceable by order of a court;
to prohibit review of Patients First. professional services as a part of regulatory practices by a duly authorized investigative or disciplinary body;
to prevent Patients First physicians and other Patients First medical personnel from sharing medical information with a consulting physician or other health care provider from whom patients receive health care services on a referral basis.
